Shalimar is one of India's most storied food brands, founded in Kolkata in 1945. For eight decades it has stood for edible oils, Ayurvedic products and spices, trusted by households, hotels and export markets across Africa, Nepal, Canada, the UAE and Bangladesh. Pure coconut and mustard oils, chef-grade spices, every product carrying a legacy built on purity and consistency.
Challenge
A heritage brand, almost absent from quick commerce. Around 25,000 rupees a month on Blinkit, five SKUs, one city, barely 200 orders. For a name this large the shelf did not reflect the brand. The playbook had to be rebuilt from zero, and held month after month.
