What Plazza announced
Instant medicine delivery startup Plazza has closed a $15 million Series A round co led by Accel, Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, according to Entrackr. Existing investors All In Capital and Better Capital also participated. The round comes about 10 months after the Bengaluru based company raised a $1.4 million seed round led by All In Capital.
Founded in 2024 by Aman Priyadarshi, Plazza runs a pharmacy first quick commerce model that promises delivery within 15 to 30 minutes. Entrackr reports that gross merchandise value grew nearly 27 times between June 2025 and March 2026, and that the platform maintains a prescription fill rate above 95 percent against an industry average of 50 to 60 percent.
Where the money goes
The company said the fresh capital will strengthen its technology platform, deepen AI driven inventory and assortment intelligence, build operational capabilities and expand its pharmacy network into new geographies. Plazza frames the opportunity around a supply gap in Indian pharmacy retail, where neighbourhood chemists typically stock around 5,000 medicines even though the market spans more than 100,000 SKUs.
Why it matters for Indian brands: capital is flowing back into pharmacy focused quick commerce, so consumer health and wellness brands should plan for medicine grade fulfilment and faster last mile availability as a distribution channel. The raise signals that investors still see room beyond grocery and general merchandise in India’s instant delivery market.
