Astrotalk Store claims Rs 1 crore daily GMV, adds gemstones
Started with Rs 30 lakh in late 2024, the spiritual products arm now runs at a Rs 1 crore a day rate and is opening a certified gemstones vertical.
- Roughly Rs 1 crore daily GMV run rate, from a Rs 30 lakh start in November 2024.
- 1.6 million orders processed during 2025.
- Ecommerce vertical crossed Rs 140 crore revenue in 2025, at a Rs 200 crore annualised run rate.
- New gemstones platform carries lab certification, astrological guidance and replacement policies.
Astrotalk Store, the ecommerce arm of the astrology platform, says it is running at roughly Rs 1 crore in daily gross merchandise value. It launched in November 2024 with an initial investment of Rs 30 lakh and processed 1.6 million orders during 2025.
The catalogue covers rudraksha, crystals, zodiac bracelets, vastu products, yantras and spiritual jewellery, adding more than 30 products a month. The broader ecommerce vertical crossed Rs 140 crore of revenue in 2025 and is at a Rs 200 crore annualised run rate, with SKUs planned to expand from over 300 to more than 800 by FY27.
The new gemstones platform carries lab certified precious and semi precious stones with astrological guidance and replacement policies. Co-founder Anmol Jain said the focus has been sourcing, merchandising and new product launches, with the gemstones platform intended to build customer trust in the category.
The lesson is about sequencing. Astrotalk built the audience first through consultations, then sold products to people who already trusted the advice. Acquisition cost for the commerce arm is close to nothing because the customer is already there.
Certification is the second half. In a category where authenticity is unverifiable by the buyer, the certificate is the product.
